The State Bank of India (SBI) has released a huge number of vacancy for the post of Circle Based Officer post and the SBI CBO Notification 2025 is now available on the official website. A Circle Based Officer (CBO) at SBI is responsible for managing banking operations, customer service, loan processing, and business development within a specific regional circle. The official notification contains important dates for the SBI Circle Based Officer Recruitment 2025 that will be followed for entire SBI CBO Vacancy 2025-26. As of now, only online application dates has been released and the SBI CBO Exam Date 2025 is tentatively scheduled in July 2025 and the exact date will be notified soon.
Eligibility Criteria :
The educational qualification required for SBI CBO is Graduation degree from a recognised University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government, including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD), and those with qualifications in Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, and Cost Accountancy are eligible. Candidates must have been born not later than 30.04.2004 and not earlier than 01.05.1995. A minimum of 2 years of experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) as on 30.04.2025 as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank as listed in Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India. Candidates must know the state language that they are applying from. The Local language proficiency test will be conducted as part of selection process but if any candidate can show their 10th/12th marksheet evidencing having studied the opted language then they need to appear for the LPT.
Other Information :
The exam pattern consists two parts: Objective and Descriptive. Objective is 120 Marks and Descriptive is of 50 Marks. There is no negative marking and non sectional cut off. The SBI CBO Salary 2025 starts from Rs 48,480 and the present pay scale is Rs. 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2- 67160-2680/7-85920. Initially, they will be appointed at Circle Based Officer JMGS-I and annual increments are given each year as per the Bank norms.
